Jane Doe — Cornell case

Public record

Jane Doe is the pseudonym used by the woman whose civil lawsuit alleges sexual assault by seven fraternity members at Cornell in 2024. The defendants have denied wrongdoing. Her identity remains protected; this page does not identify her.

Why we honor her

The church honors Jane Doe as a Living Saint of Resistance, awaiting communal celebration in solidarity with her pursuit of accountability and the dignity of survivors. Recognition does not require her to become public or to participate in this church.

Recognition by Church of Sacred Resistance awaits communal celebration and ritual. It does not imply membership or endorsement, and does not authorize sharing private information.

Public record checked October 3, 2026. Allegations and defense positions are attributed; theological recognition is the church’s interpretation.
